Hey guys you got to love Daelim Scooters. First well take a little look at the Daelim Motor Company and then we’ll take a look at some Daelim scooters.
Daelim scooters manufactured in South Korea are one of the leading manufacturers of high powered scooters worldwide. Daelim scooters are manufactured by the Daelim Motor Company established in 1962. In 1972 the Daelim Motor Company formed a collaboration with Honda that has lasted over 30 years.
Primarily focused on the Asian market Daelim recently moved into Europe having sold more than 20,000 scooters in the Spanish market. No small feat indeed. At present Daelim are attempting to conquer the UK market with current expansion plans being realised. Maintaining a presence in Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Iran.
So many quality bikes to choose from so well dive right in. It’s clear that Daelim are one of my favourite scooter manufactures. They just look great! Let’s take a look at some of the top models from the funky B bone to the quick and stylish S1.
Daelim S-Five Scooter
The Daelim S Five is a great looking scooter (as are all scooters in the Daelim range to be fair). With an engine size of only 50cc the bike looks like it should be a 150cc. However with max power of 3.48KW @6000RPM the bike is definitely powerful.
Daelim Citi Ace Scooter
Designed by Daelim for city commutes the Citi Ace is great looking powerful scooter. With an engine size of 109cc and a max power of 5.4KW @ 7500 the Citi Ace is on the more powerful scooters in the Daelim range.
Daelim Besbi 125 Scooter
An even more powerful bike. With a max power of 6.6KW @ 7000RPM and an engine size of 125cc the Besbi is for the serious rider only.
Daelim S – Four Scooter
Only recently released this year in the UK market the S-Four is the scooter I would recommend for new riders. Its stylish, has a touch of class and with an engine size 50cc ensures you don’t need a tonne of licenses to ride it. The engine is a 4 stroke ensuring that extra bit of power and a max power of 3.2 KW @ 7500 RPM
Daelim B-Bone 125 Scooter
As quoted by Daelim “Introducing Daelim’s ‘Self Evolving Machine’ the B-Bone, it’s funkier than a seventies disco with a great oil cooled 125cc fuel injected lump. “. The bike definitely is funky looking and I agree it looks as though it would match an afro. The engine has a displacement 125cc, is a four stoke Oil and Air cooled engine, with a max power of 8.5 KW @ 9000 RPM. However you wouldn’t buy this bike for the power I would say you would buy it for its funky funky look.
Daelim S1 125cc
Another great looking bike by Daelim, the s1 is designed for avoiding public transport and getting around the inner city. Definitely would suit an inner city commute. From Daelim: “SCOOT around the city free from the hassles of unreliable public transport schedules…Set your own timetable and your own agenda with the Daelim “Commuter Scooter”… the S1”. The s1 has an engine size of 125cc with a max power of 8.5kw @ 8700RPM.
So there you have it the Daelim range in all their glory. Perfect for everyone whether your after a small 50cc scooter to whiz around the city avoiding traffic and the evils of public transport, to the 125cc range that just screams power and style. If I was you though I would definitely check out the B Bone; got to love that funky funky bike, or I would check out the S1 the ultimate “Commuter Scooter”.
